Meteor Crater

Yup. It's a crater. Made by a meteor.^* There's a surprisingly tasteful little science museum up there, with surprisingly un-cheesy information about meteors and meteorites. That sort of thing. And then there's great view of the crater. It's like this big... crater. In the ground. In the desert. Also interesting: It's privately owned, been in the family for nearly a century. Good work. dvb
