The flight was nonstop from San Francisco to Sydney. It flew a straight line West and South for fourteen hours. It took off at 11pm, chasing after where the sun had previously set. After nearly 14 hours, the sun finally caught up again, from the East! I estimate that the sun rose at apparently approximately 50% of its usual rate. |
