Mine contains a small cassette drive with a looped signal tape.
Sometimes the loop is very long, on the order of three to four weeks.
Presently it is quite short -- about seven minutes.
Due to its strategic location, its signals reverberate the spinal
column, echoing down to the base of the spine and up to the very
top of the skull. It makes my heart go pitter-pat.
